I went to Washington, D.C. for a conference. What an awesome place!! The weather was beautiful, the cherry blossoms were in full bloom (about 2 weeks early), and there was SO much to see and do!
We had some free time to do some sight-seeing, and so guess what I did? Yeah, I sight-saw. And took lots of pictures.
I can’t believe I went this many years without seeing our great nation’s capital city! I was in London last summer and saw their version of all this good stuff. I am American so I am biased, but I have to say, we did it better. Everything in DC is FREE and you can take pictures. Win-win. Go America!

Conference: National Science Foundation! |
The conference I was at was for the National Science Foundation INSPIRE GK-12 program that I am a fellow with. It was great to get together with other people from across the country doing the same thing we are!
These are just a few of my favorite pictures from the first part of the trip. I will put them all on facebook and the rest in a blog post later! The next blog will have more words and a REALLY crazy story to go with more pictures!! 🙂
CHEERS!
