I’ve been living out of a suitcase for almost two weeks now as we are in the midst of a PCS. We’re out of our house, living in a TLF (temporary living facility) on base (basically a large furnished apartment) and about to up root once more for several weeks before we ship out to Korea.
Dressing the bump from what I can fit in a suitcase has been a challenge with the rapid rate it’s growing (second baby bellies definitely get bigger faster) and with the changing seasons. I have had a lot of fun finding accessories to doll up my outfits since I’m sticking with basics. A lot of the clothes (with a few exceptions) aren’t even maternity so I can continue to wear them post baby and beyond. They’re also super comfy because I spend a lot of my time chasing a spunky almost 2-year-old.
{I’m sorry for the lack of pictures. Owen and I both have nasty colds and sitting at the computer on my lap is not on his list of things he wants to do today, rather he wants 110% of my love and attention, which is just fine with me.}
1. boyfriend jeans (if I’m not wearing leggings, I’m wearing these)
2. leggings
3. tunics, currently loving this one, and this one (I own them in every color)
4. all the dresses, but specifically this one with this scarf
5. comfy versatile sandals
7. this ring – I’m so into gold right now
8. this oversized sweater (& if you drink a pumpkin spice latte while wearing this sweater it’s like heaven on earth)
9. Naturopathica skin care products (aloe cleansing gel, vitamin c revitalizing lotion, calendula essential hydrating cream, and sweet cherry brightening enzyme peel) are amazing and perfect for my out of control pregnancy skin.
10. L’occitaine almond supple skin oil on my belly morning and night. It spared me from stretch marks last time and so far, so good this time around. Plus, it smells incredible.
Being the 14th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks on our great nation, I hope that you will please take some time in solitude to reflect and pray during your day today. We must never forget.
