Hallo. How’s your week going? Mine is BUSY. Which is good. I haven’t really had much time to cook or blog so I apologize about that.
I have found some time to relax this past weekend, however. With some red, plain noodles+parm and, admittedly, one three five episodes of Glee courtesy of Netflix. Speaking of Glee, who saw tonight’s Michael Jackson episode? Ohmygosh. How amazing was that? Yeah…you just judged me.
I have been busy the past two days getting back into the routine of teaching again. My thesis paper writing begins officially tomorrow and I don’t think I’ve ever been this motivated to finish anything in my life. That’s good, I know, but a little too late? Nah… I’ve had some time to talk to the Viper Pilot this week too, which is a nice change from last week. He had a very eventful weekend (hence my previously mentioned date with Finn, my Glee crush), but we’re back to a normal routine of getting a few hours to chat before saying goodnight.
Last night, I Skyped (video-chatted) with my parents…and my dog. Elmer. I miss her. She was sitting on my dad’s lap and heard my voice – she was looking everywhere for me, then she saw me on the computer screen and was trying to get at the computer. It broke my heart to see her so confused.
My parents will be bringing her back to me in less than two weeks. Which is good for more than one reason: my kitchen floor is a mess. There are plenty of crumbs waiting for her. And lotsa lovin’. I’m not going to lie, I can’t wait to get our little family back together again. Permanently. 🙂
That picture taken way back when I first moved to Mississippi and we were a family for the first time. Of course, at the time we thought the LDR was over, but little did we know… 🙂 The Viper Pilot (at the time the T-6 pilot) had just come home from work when we took this picture. Some days, I still expect him to walk in the door in his stinky flight suit. Some day soon!!
Cheers!
