Home is where the heart is. And when we saw this house, our hearts jumped for joy. The landlord lead us through the most striking antique wood double entry doors we’ve ever seen past the foyer, the Viper Pilot and I made eye contact, and we knew. This was our house.
It’s a place to call home. And it is ours!!
We have another picket fence in the front yard…but this one is much more quaint than the Texas house one.
There is a great place for us to set up our new fire bowl that we got as a wedding present and have a BBQ, too! Oh, did I mention the house comes with a vineyard? Yeah…see those grapes in the picture below? The owner told us the vines are easy to maintain, and he is leaving me his wine making equipment in case I would like to try my knack at vino making. And you know I will. If I get really good at it, I’ll be sure to bring some home with me!
PS. I am now able to text message the states!! It has been a wonderful way for me to keep in touch with my
parents and sisters. Click here to send me an email if you would like my contact info so you can text me, too.
You will need to have a smartphone.

The house looks wonderful! Congratulations. From what I remember about the German culture it's probably best you didn't give her a hug. :). The Italians on the other hand…….
I will be in Paris the week of Oct. 15th, what does your schedule look like?
