Thanks for the feedback on my sister’s post! She even said herself that writing about her journey was motivation in itself. That’s awesome.
I believe that my message of the importance of a healthy lifestyle is prevalent in this blog. I find it easy to share tips on living healthy and maintaining your body with you because it’s how I live my day-to-day. It’s so easy to write about what you know. But I’ve never written on the subject of weight loss since I really can’t speak from experience. At this point in my life, I’ve managed to maintain a weight that I’m happy with, only dealing with small (but manageable) fluctuations here and there. I focus on keeping my body toned and healthy. My advice to those trying to lose weight is this:
Set a goal weight. It will give you something to work toward and help motivate you. But remember that it is just a number. Find your body that makes you happy when you look in the mirror and focus on that. Once you reach that place, commit it to memory — how it makes you feel, how you see yourself. That’s where you want to be!
I am so glad my sister decided to share her story with me and I hope she inspired you to share yours! 🙂
A very special 11th birthday wish to the twins! My heart hurts, I wish I could floo powder myself to spend the day with them or at least give them a birthday hug.
The story of my day (again).
I’m so sick of being sick. I think I’m on the uphill but my ears are still plugged and I can’t stop coughing. So much for all the running I was going to do on this trip.
The highlight of my day was lunch with this hunk before he had to go to work.
I’ll hopefully get to meet him for dinner, too. No love lost for night weeks.
Today is laundry day and well, it’s a long story, but I’m out of clothes. Fortunately, the Viper Pilot packed extra. I look like a gangsta.
Straight thuggin’ yo. 😉
Well, peace out peeps. I’m gonna do some restoration yoga and maybe take a nap.
CIAO!
What’s your favorite thing to do to pamper yourself when you’re sick? I love to read my favorite magazines, take bubble baths, and watch TV in bed. 🙂
Tamera says
When I'm sick I retire to the bed with my laptop, the latest Vogue, and a stack of books. The TV tray is right next to the bed with all the requisite pharmaceuticals.
I hope you feel better soon!
