Hi friends! Did you all enjoy your Fourth of July? Did you get to see the rocket’s red glare?
Recent eats.
Pepperocini pasta from Sardinia with cherry tomatoes from my garden, Parmesan from Italy, and olive oil from Sardinia.
Chile cheese quinoa pasta casserole:
(recipe will be posted soon)
The sad thing about good food is that when you eat it all, it’s gone. I really don’t like that part.
I’ve been doing some work in the garden quite a bit lately, thanks to cooperation from Ma Nature. I have many, many rose bushes, but found this single red rose in perfect bloom in the front yard. Simply perfect in every way.
There’s a little something red in my kitchen, too…
Maybe red is the color of summer 2013, huh? I would say so.
Just because we live in Germany doesn’t mean that we can’t celebrate Independence Day. Our base put on quite an event for us: free food and drinks, carnival rides (including pony rides, go karts, paintball, and an enormous bouncy house), various entertainment and live music. The best part? I got to spend the day with my girlfriends. 🙂
Worried about falling off? No need to fret, there’s a single chain across the seat. That outta hold you in place.
Oh, and hold onto your shoes!
(sorry they’re blurry, I didn’t have a tripod)
