Raise your hand if you love Favorite Shop Friday! I’m having so much fun with this new series and I hope you are too. I love sharing all my favorite things with you and I have so many more lined up.
I’m sorry I missed you this week but we’ve been busy. My mom is visiting and we’re usually out exploring Korea, enjoying lots of coffee/wine and good conversation. I’ll post about our time together this week. In the meantime, here’s another FSF for you to enjoy.
I honestly don’t remember how I discovered Mint and Arrows, but it is definitely one of my all-time favorites. Meagan makes cocoon swaddles for baby boys and girls and they are fantastic.
Owen hated being swaddled from the very beginning – even the nurses in the hospital quit trying – so when Della loved it, I knew I was in trouble. I didn’t know how to swaddle. I had all these beautiful swaddle blankets and I couldn’t figure out how to do a proper swaddle. They were too bulky, over her face, and usually a limb was sticking out.
Mint and Arrows‘ cocoons are so easy to put on – you just slip it on from the feet and bring it up around baby. I can even sneak it on after she’s already asleep which is great for naps when I need her to sleep in her crib (she’ll only sleep in her crib if she’s swaddled). Of course, they’re great when we snuggle through nap time, too…which is often.
Sometimes when I know she’ll be napping soon, I put the cocoon on and leave her arms out then simply tuck them in once she’s asleep and voilĂ – she’s swaddled.
The material is soft, just the right weight, and just stretchy enough to make her feel snug and secure. The first time she slept in it at night, she slept 7 hours straight! Coincidence? I don’t think so. These cocoons are magical. Della has been wearing the cocoons since she was just a few weeks old. Now at 15 weeks they still fit her and she’s not even stuffed into them.
Meagan also makes knotted headbands that are stretchy enough they’ll grow with Della and still not leave a mark on her little noggin. Some of the headbands are so adjustable even I can wear them. I can’t wait to get the mommy and me set I have on the way.

The fabrics are soft and she has so many super cute patterns (for girls AND boys)! We have four cocoons and counting and I’ve lost track of how many M&A headbands we have. You can never have enough! Every time I visit her shop she has new pieces listed — needless to say, I’ll always be a returning customer!
the discount: blessed
