Or greenhouses forever would be more accurate…
Hi friends! How are you today? Life here has been good. Crazy, but the good kind of crazy (for the most part) and I’m doing my best to enjoy all of it. The weather has been incredible so we hit up a nearby strawberry greenhouse and farm last Saturday with some friends. It was some much needed family time and fresh air (minus the part where the air quality index is in the red). You can see it in the air even when the sun is shining. I hate to think too much about it.
Air pollution and yellow dust aside, spring is in the air and so is cherry blossom season. I knew cherry blossoms were an Asia thing, but it didn’t occur to me that they’d be in South Korea. Well they are and they’re everywhere and they are gorgeous.
We got to the farm a little before they opened so we walked around and looked at the animals and the tractor, of course.
I have so much love for this sweet pup that greeted us at the entrance. Look at those wittle ears!
I really enjoy people watching in Korea. The way they dress their kids always makes me grin.
After the speech, we all went into another greenhouse where the strawberries were. Now, let me tell you something about Korea. We call it the “land of not quite right” and if you want to know why, either ask my dad or keep reading the blog and it will become very apparent. But one thing right in the land of not quite are their strawberries. I mean…you guys. They are THE best strawberries I’ve ever eaten. We go through so many strawberries in our house, probably two or three cartons a WEEK. And they’re even better picked fresh.
When you put our sweet Owen in an all-you-can-pick-&-eat greenhouse full of “cawbees” you better watch out.
He ate more strawberries than we could count and we had to drag him out of there! He’s watching me write this and just brought me his shoes and said “go pick cawbees?”
This picture says it all.
