Or you might call it a little slice of Owen’s heaven on earth. We were looking for something to do on Father’s Day afternoon and when we saw this place on our Trip Advisor list of places nearby, we knew it was going to be a hit. Cars, trucks, airplanes, trains – they have it all.
Every car was a Mustang to Owen and all he wanted to do was drive every single one of them.
By the time we made it through the museum and saw all the cars (it took several hours) we missed all the fun outdoor activities. There’s a car that drives you around a test track and kids can drive little trucks around a miniature town. We’re definitely going to have to go back. Della loved looking at the water fountain and we cheered Owen up (he was sad he didn’t get to drive the little trucks) with one of his favorite Korean juice drinks. We’re not really sure what it is, but he loves them.
There was a brand new (small) interactive kids area that was just about to close when we got there. Turns out it is better to go to this museum in the morning. Owen still had fun riding the bus and trying to figure out the bicycle.
He tried so hard to pedal, it was so cute.
Della just hung out in her car seat, happy and content as ever. She’s the best baby.
When I asked Alex what he wanted to do for Father’s Day, he replied that he simply wanted to spend time with us and do something that would make the kids happy. I think we pretty much nailed that. Owen had a blast at the museum. And for how cheap it was, we’ll definitely be back there.
Hope you have a great Monday, everyone!
