There's just too much going on in this post to come up with a more creative title. Iowa Trip, part 1 was the best I could do. And trust me there will be at least part 2 if not 3. :) While Alex was off in Alabama at SOS (squadron officer school) learning how to be a leader, Owen and I hung out in Iowa for a few weeks. I had help with Owen coming out my ears and it was the most relaxed I'd been in a looooong time! It was a very enjoyable trip! He spent a lot of time with his grandpa Dennis in ... View the Post
Home away from Home
One of the hardest things about being a military family is all the moving. Every few years, we pack up everything we own less what we stuff into four suitcases and ship it to another state, another country, or into storage. Healthy Crock Pot Meal Plan
I caught someone red-pawed sniffing the candy dish. Since Owen joined our little fam, she's been deprived of attention. She loved him to pieces in the first few weeks... But lately, she's been getting a little jealous, though she still runs to his side when he cries and insists on helping with his bath. The other day she wanted to be on my lap while I was feeding the baby. There was just not enough room for everyone and she knew it. She started hobbling around the room on three legs, ... Sunny with a chance of sand and ocean.
Hello readers! How is your day? It was happy haircut day for Elle. I had her cut it really short even though winter is coming because a) we don't want to mess with getting her groomed while adjusting to becoming a family of three and b) our dog groomer is due to have a baby 2 weeks before me so we couldn't get her haircut in December anyway. Elle isn't the only one in this house who got a butchered haircut - the Viper Pilot did too but he won't let me post a picture of it. Just take my word, ... View the Post
