The Viper Pilot was away for a few weeks back in January so I thought I'd surprise him by organizing our life. & when I say life, I mean the office. This took days (during Owen's nap time when I, too, should have been napping - HA! sleep is for the weak). I came across a photo frame that I'd bought almost two years ago and realized that I never got around to doing anything with it. Well, I said, no time is better than the present. Unless Owen wakes up and then it will have to wait. If you ... View the Post

Everything between then and now.
The fact that my parents are visiting again and I'm still blogging about their last visit should be a clear indication that I will probably never get completely caught up the way I'd like to. Maroon Carpet Day
(Several weeks ago, like back in July, I think) we went to a Maroon Carpet day and we got a behind the scenes tour of several shops on base. I've seen it all before, but I still find it interesting. It was an event put on by the squadron we are a part of and my handsome husband planned most of it. <-- I'm ... View the Post
The view from up here.
I am so crazy blessed. I'm really behind over here in my little corner of the blog world. The bambino is on the move now and our entire house is tile. Tile hurts. Plus, he is so much fun to play with so I spend my days playing with rattles, stacking blocks, singing silly songs and making stuffed animals come to life. So, two - three? - weeks ago I cashed in my brownie points earned for being a fighter pilot's wife (tolerating 12+ hour work days sometimes 6 days a week, TDYs, deployment, ... View the Post
ILA Berlin Air Show
Disclaimer: This post was written and photos were edited while juggling a baby (even while nursing at one point). So, basically that means I'm awesome... ...at typing one handed. ;) Memorial Day weekend was the ILA Berlin airshow and we took advantage of the three day weekend to revisit Berlin and see what all the hype is about the internationally acclaimed show. The ILA Berlin Air Show is the oldest aviation show in the world. It's a big commercial trade event combined with an airshow and ... View the Post
