cannot avoid talking about the military. As you know, it is the Viper Pilot and I’s life. We live the military lifestyle day in and day out.
When writing about the military, I have
to watch my words to safeguard and protect our beloved military members and their families. The military has a name for this.
It’s called OPSEC and it stands for Operational Security. Great. Soooo…what does it mean?
- No specific dates
- No specific locations
- No specific names
- No specific…anything
In simple terms, it’s keeping it a secret, whatever it may be. Because you never know who is watching, reading, listening, etc. that shouldn’t be.
Do I really think bad guys are reading my blog?
Ha! No, it’s not likely. But I’m not going to take any risks. I believe that you can never be too OPSEC minded.
So if you are wondering why I am vague at times, this is why. And if you think I’ve said something I shouldn’t have, please tell me. If you have questions or concerns please contact me at adventuresofalexandemily {at} gmail {dot} com.
