I absolutely love when women share their birth stories. They are so empowering. We are amazing - God designed us to bring human life into the world! He uses our bodies to do His miraculous work. The last few days before Della arrived, I spent a lot of time in front of the mirror. Studying my body and soaking in just how beautiful my big belly actually was. The due date came and went with no signs of her arrival. I was big and slow and uncomfortable, but I think I was more patient waiting for ... View the Post

31 week bumpdate
31 weeks and feeling... ...ready to be ready. Does that make any sense? We're stuck living out of our six suitcases in a tiny one bedroom hotel room for another month and I'm starting to get really antsy to begin preparing for this baby. Since moving away from home we've ... View the Post

I've been living out of a suitcase for almost two weeks now as we are in the midst of a PCS. We're out of our house, living in a TLF (temporary living facility) on base (basically a large furnished apartment) and about to up root once more for several weeks before we ship out to Korea. Dressing the bump from what I can fit in a suitcase has been a challenge with the rapid rate it's growing (second baby bellies definitely get bigger faster) and with the changing seasons. I have had a lot of fun ... View the Post

THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for all the love that poured in after our announcement last week! We are over the moon excited. Our babes will be about 2 years apart and we're probably a little bit crazy doing this with our big move coming up soon. But then again, I don't know pregnancy without a little life excitement. The first trimester is over now and I kissed it good riddance. I had the kind of pregnancy (with Owen) that made most women want to punch me in the face. After the ... View the Post
