I got my April Birchbox weeks ago, but the reason I haven't shared my review of the products is because, well...I haven't really needed to use any of them. Not to say they aren't any good, because as you'll see in my review below, they are! Source Each container has a theme. April's was "tiny tweeks, big results," teaming up with Women's Health to put together fine-tuned products to support a healthy lifestyle for spring. Spring is only just really starting to spring here. We went days ... View the Post
April NatureBox
I've fallen in love with another monthly subscription container. I know what you're thinking...another? Yes, another. I've already told you about Birchbox, and now we need to talk about NatureBox. This container is where hungry meets healthy. Between BB and NB we can be good to our bodies on the inside and out. NB rocks because... no high fructose corn syrup no partially hydrogenated oils no trans fats no artificial sweeteners no artificial flavors no artificial colors I ... View the Post
March Birchbox
Source I was so excited to open my March Birchbox that I didn't take pictures. Silly. Fortunately, they have pictures on their website that I can borrow and they don't mind. Why am I blogging about my March container at the end of April? Because I live overseas and it takes a few extra weeks to get to me. I spoke with their awesome customer service folks and they laughed as they told me that USPS considers their products potentially hazardous so they cross the pond on a boat instead of by air. ... February Birchbox
A new-to-me thing is Birchbox. Have you heard of it? It's awesome. It's basically like a magazine subscription, except better. For ten bucks a month, this cute little container will arrive in the mail filled with beauty and lifestyle samples in your mail container. You earn points and can use them to buy full size products you love on their website. Their point system is stellar. Just like that. Right. So, yeah, it's April. And I'm just now blogging about my February Birchbox. Why, you ... View the Post
January Adored Things
What I'm loving in 2013 so far: - Aeropostale ultra skinny rinse dark wash jean. With only 1 percent spandex, this pair provides a bit more figure-skimming structure than most skinny jeans. Normally $24, but I nabbed 'em for $18.56 on sale and with coupon code TFJ2013 at Aeropostale. (Sorry, I can't promise the code will work for you). Source - Hue jeggings. I love these stretchy corduroys - they feel like leggings but look much more put-together. It's like wearing yoga pants to ... View the Post
Holiday Feast Menu + Cook’s Illustrated review
I love traditional holiday menus. They are delicious timeless dishes - if you only make them once or twice a year, you never get tired of them. We do a traditional Thanksgiving dinner every year. And by traditional, I mean what (I like to think) the Pilgrims and the Indians ate for the 1st annual Thanksgiving dinner. I make green bean casserole every year as it is a staple (in my opinion) to a traditional holiday feast. Like most people, I use the same old recipe off the can label. I decided ... View the Post
